	For Ferdie Flores - phils. Lord, I ask prayer for our fellow 'kababayan' Ferdie Flores, who is a christian missionary in East Timor. He's going to be killed this coming Sunday through beating by Muslim Indonesians because he is caught spreading the word of God in Indonesia. Pls pray that God will not allow this to happen. For frequent visitor of this site & those with christian heart, kindly offer & light a candle for a brave christian like Ferdie, who is ready to face death for the love of his religion & our God. 	Paster Ferdie Flores - Lord. You know how difficult we find it to serve you sometimes. Many of us live in comfortable circumstances and find our faith is weak because we spend so little time excercising it in our daily living. Forgive us for this Father and help us to draw encouragement from the plight of our dear brother at this time. Lord, we have no claim on your divine will and we pray forgiveness where we have demanded your aid as opposed to submitting to your infinite wisdom. We don't know why you have called our brother through this trial but we do know that he went to this potentially dangerous place to witness with the full knowledge of what may have lay ahead of him. Teach us to learn from this, the fearlessness and determination that comes with total commitment to you, a commitment demonstrated to us by our brother. We do not DEMAND you save our brother but rather ask that if it is your will that you spare him this trial but ONLY if it is YOUR will. If not dear Lord we pray that you will bear him up in strength and bring him comfort through prayer. I thank and praise you for his witness and trust that you will show all of us even now as we pray for our dear brother your will for OUR lives as we would seek to serve you as our brother has so faithfully.
