The way this 'Novena' came about is really strange. With the economy so bad, business has been tough and I was praying fervently for help. One night I had a dream (don't even remember what it was about now.) In the dream though someone said 'say the Ave Maria Novena.' The only reference I had to Ave Maria was in the song Immaculate Mary and I ran through the words to that song in my head. The next day I did a search for 'Ave Maria Novena.' The only thing I found was a long prayer service with the Memorare as part of it. So I kind of made up my own 'Novena.'
I begin each morning singing Immaculate Mary (mostly in my head) Then I say the Memorare and mention the most pressing problems facing me. I also say a Hail Mary. In about a week or two things turned around. More money started coming in and I was able to pay more bills. I am still feeling affects of the economy but this has renewed my hope in the future.

Memorare
Remember o most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to they portection, implored they help or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with confidence I fly unto you o virgin of virgins my mother. To you I come before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word incarnate despise not my petitions but in your mercy hear and answer me Amen.
